I have extensive experience teaching and tutoring school-age children through undergraduates in various settings.

At the secondary school level, I taught English (language, literature, writing, and rhetoric) and social studies courses (Government, US and World History, and Sociology.) I tutored university students in history and general research and writing skills.

I've also taught adults English as a Second Language to improve their business-level language skills.

At the primary level, I tutored all subjects and tracked students' progress via standardized tests in an after-school program.

While working in publishing, I specialized in editing academic texts and working with authors for whom English was not their native language. We worked on editing their books for native English speakers and standard English for an international audience.
