Carrie Jubran works for SC Child Care Resource & Referral. She has a BS in Education and over 25 years of experience and ongoing training in Early Childhood Education. Prior to coming to CCR&R, Carrie worked in Head Start for 21 years. Within Head Start, Carrie has provided training and coaching to teachers in Early Childhood classrooms for 10+ years, including topics in classroom management, curriculum, child development, indoor and outdoor play, group times, disabilities, challenging behavior, health, nutrition, and safety. She has also trained early childhood professionals at regional and national Head Start conferences in collaboration with the local Science Center.

Carrie Jubran is a Quality Coach with South Carolina Child Care Resource and Referral at the Yvonne & Schuyler Moore Child Development Research Center with the University of South Carolina. She holds a Bachelor's in Education and many hours of continuing education. She has been trained and is reliable in ECERS and ITERS rating scales, as well as CLASS assessment tools. Before working for SC CCR&R, she was with Head Start for 21 years. During her time at Head Start, she provided training and coaching for teachers, using the Practice-Based Coaching method. She assisted classrooms in a variety of areas such as classroom management, lesson planning, group times, and child behaviors. She also implemented developmental and social-emotional screenings for children and assisted staff and families with developmental and social-emotional referrals. While working in Head Start she also spent time as a center director and has experience with licensing requirements.
