Tammy Penner, M.Ed., is a Family Child Care Quality Coach covering the Upstate of SC for South Carolina Child Care Resource and Referral. She provides technical assistance and professional development as a trainer in SC and Nationally. She considers her career an honor and privilege to serve early childhood professionals. She began her early childhood journey as an in-home provider, went into the classroom, progressed to administration, and then moved into Child Care Resource & Referral. She has worked in Early Care and Education for 30-plus years. She holds a Masters in Education and a BS in Early Childhood Education.

She believes there is power when an individual can look into the eyes of another and say, “I hear you,” “I see you,” “You have a purpose,” and “I believe in you.” Throughout her educational career, she has continued to learn, grow, and develop.
