Teneshia Slempa is a mother of three boys and serves in her children’s schools on the PTA / PTSA. She graduated from MSU/Minnesota State University at Moorhead, received her Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2000, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the University of SC in Early Childhood and Education. She has 25 years of experience in social work as a care coordinator, therapeutic foster care treatment coordinator, Just-in-case closet coordinator, and Distribution Center Director. She also provided Technical Assistance and coaching to foster families. After leaving her work with foster families she worked as licensing specialist with SC Child Care Licensing for 3 years. She has been the Outreach Coordinator for SC CCR&R for two and half years and is now a Family Child Care Quality Coach and Trainer for SC CCR&R.
